For logistical and scheduling reasons, the annual Christmas concert of the Mormon Tabernacle Choir and Orchestra at Temple Square has been moved to Thursday through Saturday, December 17–19.  More information about the concert and guest artists will follow in the weeks to come.

The 2015 Christmas Concert will begin with a public dress rehearsal on Thursday, December 17. Two concerts will be performed on Friday, December 18, and Saturday, December 19. Sunday, December 20, the broadcast of Music & the Spoken Word will feature music from the Christmas concert. Tickets are required for the three evening performances. No tickets are required for the Sunday Music & the Spoken Word broadcast. Tickets may be requested online from Saturday, October 17, 12:01 a.m., through Monday, October 26, at 11:59 p.m. The guest artists will be announced in mid-October.

Like the previous Christmas concerts in years past, this concert will deliver what fans have come to expect from the Choir. A Deseret News article from last year’s concert proclaimed, “The Mormon Tabernacle Choir and Orchestra on Temple Square delivered nothing less than what one would expect of the world-renowned musical organizations, including their signature goosebump-inducing crescendos, sharp staccatos and an all-around powerhouse performance."
