The Mormon Tabernacle Choir and Orchestra at Temple Square will present “Music for a Summer Evening,” the annual concert held in conjunction with community-wide Pioneer Day celebrations. This special Broadway-themed concert will be held on Friday and Saturday, July 20 and 21, at 8 p.m. in the Conference Center on Temple Square in Salt Lake City and will be conducted by Mack Wilberg, music director of the Choir, and Ryan Murphy, associate music director.
Audiences will love the three amazing guests—Matthew Morrison, Broadway and television star; Laura Michelle Kelly, Broadway and London stage star; and Oscar “Andy” Hammerstein III, grandson of famed lyricist Oscar Hammerstein—who will join the Mormon Tabernacle Choir and Orchestra at Temple Square for the 2018 concert.
