Tabernacle Organist Andrew Unsworth Discusses his Early Interest in Organ Music and More

Appointed a Tabernacle organist in 2007, Andrew Unsworth was raised in Potsdam, NY. He earned a bachelor of music degree in organ performance and pedagogy from Brigham Young University. Later, Unsworth went on to receive master’s and doctoral degrees in performance practice from Duke University.

His professional experience includes service as music director at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Durham, North Carolina, organist and assistant director of music at the Cathedral of the Madeleine in Salt Lake City, and assistant professor of music history and organ at Stephen F. Austin State University.
