You are invited to join our Messiah celebrations!

This Easter, the Mormon Tabernacle Choir and Orchestra at Temple Square invite you to join them in adding your voice with those around the world celebrating the life and resurrection of Jesus Christ. On Good Friday, March 25, the Choir and Orchestra will live stream throughout the world their performance of Handel’s beloved Messiah oratorio from Temple Square in Salt Lake City, Utah. Composed in 1741 by George Frideric Handel in just 23 days, Messiah uses biblical texts to herald the life of Jesus Christ, and has become one of the world’s most performed and beloved musical traditions.

To enrich your Messiah experience with us, the Choir has made available downloadable instructions, a sample public domain musical score, and the concert program with libretto, plus other information at motab.org/messiah.

Join our Messiah celebrations in one of these ways!

It will be available after the concert for on-demand viewing at motab.org/messiah and on the Choir’s YouTube channel through Monday, April 4, at 11:59 p.m. MDT).
