Christmas music reminds us at this time of year of heavenly choirs appearing to shepherds watching their flocks, and of angels singing about peace on earth, good will toward men, and announcing the birth of Jesus Christ to the world. For both participants and audiences, Christmas music brings back memories of joyful childhood experiences, families gathered around the Christmas tree, and gift exchanges with dear friends.

Watch BYUtv and PBS Christmas Special Broadcasts and Streams
During December, PBS stations and BYUtv will be airing and digitally streaming the 2020 Christmas with The Tabernacle Choir featuring Broadway Tony Award® winner Kelli O’Hara and actor Richard Thomas (recorded during the 2019 Christmas concerts). Past year’s concerts will also be aired. Check your local station for dates and times.

Did you know you can stream the Music & the Spoken Word broadcast from our website wherever there is internet? Or watch on Facebook? Or watch or listen on your local radio or TV station? During the pandemic, broadcasts of Music & the Spoken Word will be encore programs recorded during previous months—but beginning December 20 a newly recorded Spoken Word will be included with each broadcast.
