If you want to create a custom playlist based on your favorite Mormon Tabernacle Choir songs, Pandora is a great solution. Pandora is a free radio station that allows you to personalize based on your taste. Here’s how you can set up a custom Pandora station in minutes:
Free Registration
Go to pandora.com. Pandora will need a bit of information to get you started, such as your name, email, password, birth year, zip code, and gender. Once you are set up, you can immediately begin creating your playlist.
Create Playlist
In the top left search box where it says “Create Station,” type in “Mormon Tabernacle Choir.” You will see a list of results including the Choir and related artists. Click “Create a Station,” and start listening right away.
Add Variety
When you are listening to your Mormon Tabernacle Choir station, you will see a button underneath that reads “Add Variety.” When you click the button, you will be given the option to add other artists with a similar sound to your station.
Listening
With the free listening option, there are some advertisements that occur between songs (for an annual or monthly subscription fee, you can listen without ads). Pandora will include songs on your station from similar artists. If you do not want to hear these songs in the future, you can click the thumbs down icon next to the play button. Pandora also allows 6 song skips per hour or 12 skips per day on the free version.
Some of the Choir albums available on Pandora are Come, Thou Fount of Every Blessing: American Folk Hymns and Spirituals, Teach Me to Walk in the Light and Other Children's Favorites, and Men of the Mormon Tabernacle Choir to name a few.
