Do You Know How to Ring? Bells on Temple Square 2020 Auditions
Bell ringers: have you ever pictured yourself performing in the Salt Lake Tabernacle or Conference Center? This could be your chance!
The Bells on Temple Square are accepting audition applications now until Wednesday, March 4, 2020.
The Bells on Temple Square rehearse every Wednesday evening and perform two annual concerts. The performance repertoire ranges from hymns to folk, classical to jazz, pop to gospel, holiday to patriotic, and more. They also accompany The Tabernacle Choir and Orchestra at Temple Square on multiple Music & the Spoken Word broadcasts and other concerts including the Christmas concert each year. The Bells even tour occasionally—two of their last out-of-state tours were in Rexburg, Idaho in 2015 and Garden Grove, California in 2017.

Completed applications should be scanned and emailed to LeAnna Willmore, the conductor of the Bells on Temple Square at leanna.willmore@gmail.com, by March 4, 2020; or they can be mailed to: The Tabernacle Choir at Temple Square, 50 North West Temple Street, Salt Lake City, Utah 84150.
Please note:
- Applications are not accepted in person at the Choir office.
- If mailed, applications must be postmarked by March 4, 2020.
Candidates for Bells on Temple Square Must Meet the Following Criteria:
Be between 20 and 45 years of age.
Live within 100 miles of Temple Square in Salt Lake City.
Be a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in good standing.
Have expertise in bell ringing or instrumental skills. Rhythmic skills are essential.
