The Tabernacle Choir and Orchestra at Temple Square have recorded inspirational and powerful music from award-winning blockbusters that will touch our hearts and remind us all to value our better impulses and see the good in others.
The Tabernacle Choir and Orchestra at Temple Square enjoy a longstanding tradition of performing inspirational music from the movies and the Broadway stage. This selection of movie music shows that no matter the story, the genre, or style, a night at the movies can encourage the divine within us and aid us in our quest to believe.

Release of “Duel of the Fates” on May 1, 2020
“Duel of the Fates” was released earlier to appreciative fans on May 1 for the Star Wars Day events held annually on May 4. The first week of release the single was featured in Spotify’s Classical New Releases playlist. Streaming numbers have continued to steadily climb each day. It is interesting to note the first weekend, the top 10 cities for streams (in order) were: Salt Lake City, Utah; Istanbul, Turkey; Provo, Utah; Los Angeles, California; Taipei, Taiwan; West Jordan, Utah; London, England; Sydney, Australia; Madrid, Spain; and Paris, France.
