Now on Spotify: Listen to the Album O Come, Little Children
The Mormon Tabernacle Choir is now officially on Spotify. The latest release, O Come, Little Children, was recorded live during the 2016 Christmas concert with the Orchestra at Temple Square and guest artist Rolando Villazón.
The album is an hour and nineteen minutes of pure Christmas magic and includes favorites such as “I Saw Three Ships,” “Deck the Halls,” “Angels from the Realms of Glory,” and more. It also includes carols from around the world, from the 18th-century German carol “O Come, Little Children” to the French song “Il est né, le divin Enfant” and the traditional Andalusian song “Campana Sobre Campana.” Villazón not only was the singing guest artists but also narrated the story of “The Little Match Girl” and the Christmas story from Luke 2.
If that weren’t enough, Villazón surprised his friend Angela Brower, a rising star in the opera world, by inviting her sing a song with the Choir during the concert. The song, “Il est né, le divin Enfant,” is included on the album as well as a duet “Holidays at Home,” which features both Brower and Villazón.
