Sesame Street Christmas Guest Reveal #’s 4&5—Introducing…
So far we’ve introduced Count von Count, Elmo and Grover, who will join Frozen’s Santino Fontana for this year’s show. Today we are revealing not one, but two Sesame Street guest artists for our Christmas concerts, which will be held December 11-14, 2014. Our newest guest artists to be introduced are Rosita and Abby Cadabby!
Rosita first appeared on Sesame Street in 1991. She is a turquoise, Spanish-speaking monster who hails from Mexico. She is the second bilingual Muppet to appear on the show with the first being Osvaldo the Grouch. She plays the guitar and often presents the word of the day. She also loves history and geography.
Abby Cadabby moved into the Sesame Street neighborhood on August 14, 2006. She carries a wand and has magical powers that let her pop in and out of the air, float or turn things into pumpkins. Her name comes from the magic word Abracadabra. Abby loves learning new things like drawing, counting and often says, “That’s so magical!” Rosita and Abby are close friends and she teaches Rosita a language called Dragonfly, while Rosita teaches Abby Spanish.
The two friends also star in many entertaining YouTube videos, including a song with superstar Bruno Mars. Below are some of their videos.
