This summer The Tabernacle Choir and Orchestra at Temple Square will travel internationally performing in seven cities in four Nordic countries and the United Kingdom: Stockholm, Sweden; Helsinki, Finland; Copenhagen, Denmark; Oslo, Norway; Cardiff and Newport, Wales; and Edinburgh, Scotland. The tour will be 22 days long, from Thursday, June 25, through Thursday, July 16, 2020.

Audiences will enjoy performances by The Tabernacle Choir at Temple Square, known for its one-of-a-kind signature sound created by 320 volunteer voices. Sixty-five members of the Orchestra at Temple Square, the Choir’s companion all-volunteer symphony orchestra, will accompany the Choir. The Orchestra recently celebrated their 20th Anniversary. Distinguished choral composer and arranger, Dr. Mack Wilberg, will conduct along with assistant director Dr. Ryan Murphy. The Choir’s repertoire will cover everything from Handel, Gounod, and Rossini to American folk hymns and spirituals. The concerts are just under two hours in length.

June 27: Stockholm, Sweden Tickets Now Available

Audiences at the 1800-seat Konserthuset Stockholm will enjoy two performances on Saturday, June 27. Tickets for the performances are now available and can be purchased via the Choir’s website links www.tabchoir.org/tour or via the Konserthuset webpage (click for Saturday 2 p.m. tickets and click for Saturday 8 p.m. tickets). Tickets can also be purchased at the Konserthuset ticket office or over the phone at +46 (0) 8 50 66 77 88. Tickets are available for those over the age of 8; a student discount is available.

July 14: Edinburgh, Scotland Tickets Now Available

Audiences at Usher Hall, Scotland’s only five-star concert hall, will enjoy an evening performance on Tuesday, July 14 at 8 p.m. Tickets for the performances are now available and can be purchased via the Choir’s website links www.tabchoir.org/tour or via the Usher Hall webpage. Tickets can also be purchased at the Usher Hall ticket office or over the phone at 0131 228 1155. Tickets are available for those over the age of 8.

Concert Tickets: To Be Available Soon

Ticket information for Helsinki, Copenhagen, Oslo, and Newport will be published on www.tabchoir.org/tour as they become available at the venues. It is anticipated that they will be available to the public soon. The concert at St. David’s Hall in Cardiff will be a benefit concert with attendance by invitation only.
