Family, friends, associates, dignitaries, and Church members from around the world have been invited to join in a celebration of President Russell M. Nelson’s 95th birthday on Friday, September 6, at 8:00 p.m. (mountain daylight time). The celebration will honor the prophet for his life of Christlike service and will include music and video insights into the life and ministry of President Nelson as a special witness of Jesus Christ.

The live celebration will be held at the Conference Center in Salt Lake City—but it will be live streamed around the world on Friday, September 6, 2019 at 8:00 p.m. (mountain daylight time) wherever the internet is available. The live stream will be broadcast in English, French, German, Mandarin, Portuguese, Spanish, and ASL.

Announced Musical Guests

The announced musical guests for the celebration will include: The Tabernacle Choir and Orchestra at Temple Square, GENTRI, Donny Osmond, Jenny Oaks Baker & Family Four, Nathan Pacheco, and the Bonner Family. For more information, read here.

Tickets for the live event have all been distributed. Those without tickets are encouraged to join the standby line for last-minute seating, which is often available. The standby line will form at the flagpole on Temple Square. Admission is open to those eight years and older.
