Due to LDS General Conference, tickets to the Sunday morning session are required to attend the Music & the Spoken Word performance on October 2, 2016.

Visitors to Salt Lake City may attend a live broadcast of Music & the Spoken Word featuring the Mormon Tabernacle Choir on Sunday mornings at 9:30 a.m. Doors open to the public at 8:30 a.m., and guests should be seated by 9:15 a.m., when the doors are closed. The broadcast is 30 minutes long and ends at 10:00 a.m.
From January through May and September through November, the broadcasts are held in the Salt Lake Tabernacle. From June through August, and during the month of December, broadcasts are held in the Conference Center to accommodate larger audiences.
2016 Summer Schedule Changes
Because of the Choir’s 2016 European tour, there will be not be live performances of Music & the Spoken Word on July 3, 10, and 17.
We invite you to join our hosts in the Salt Lake Tabernacle at 9:15 a.m. on those dates for a short organ recital and a 9:30 a.m. screening of pre-recorded Music & the Spoken Word broadcast. Patrons may come and go as they choose during the airing of then Music & the Spoken Word broadcast; however, we ask that patrons not enter or exit during the organ recital portion.
The public rehearsals on Thursday, June 30, July 7, and July 14 will also not be held. On these dates there will be a welcome by one of our hosts at 7:30 p.m., a 10 to 15-minute organ recital and then two broadcast episodes of Music & the Spoken Word will be shown on the screens in the Tabernacle.
