One of the world's great choral ensembles, the Mormon Tabernacle Choir is also one of the oldest and largest. Founded in 1847, the 375-voice choir has given musical delight to millions through international tours and numerous Columbia recordings as well as weekly broadcasts on CBS Radio from its home, the magnificent Mormon Tabernacle in Salt Lake City. Critics have lauded the choir as an ensemble of rare beauty, sensitivity and power.
