Where do I park for Temple Square and the Tabernacle?
Park free at the Conference Center garage, one street north of Temple Square and about a five-minute walk to the Tabernacle. Guests can be dropped off on West Temple near the West Gate entrances. The nearest TRAX stop is South Temple and West Temple.
The Conference Center garage remains open and free even though the building itself is closed to the public.
Many visitors park at City Creek instead, combining shopping with a Temple Square visit. That works well if you are making a day of it; the Conference Center garage is the better choice if you are coming primarily for the Tabernacle.
From the TRAX stop at South Temple and West Temple the walk is under five minutes.
