Global Members

Faithful Latter-day Saints from around the world singing with The Tabernacle Choir at Temple Square during general conference.

A worldwide voice

In April 2023 The Tabernacle Choir at Temple Square launched a new program involving global choir members from around the world. For decades the Choir has often been referred to as “America’s choir,” but despite being based in the United States its mission is worldwide.

The Global Member Program reflects that mission. Qualified Latter-day Saints from selected areas of the Church are invited to sing with the Choir as global members during general conference every April and October.

All global members are faithful Latter-day Saints. They come from different parts of the world, speak different languages, and live different lives — but they all share a passion for music and a desire to share it with others.

The Tabernacle Choir Presidency is seeking to call new global members from throughout the world, rotating among areas of the Church.
