Join the Orchestra at Temple Square for its annual Fall Concert in the historic Tabernacle on Temple Square. Under the direction of Associate Music Director Ryan Murphy, the Orchestra will present an evening of powerful and inspiring orchestral music.

Program:

Poet and Peasant: Overture Franz von Suppé (1819–1895)

Symphony No. 4 in F Minor, Op. 36 Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky (1840–1893)

I. Andante sostenuto — Moderato con anima
II. Andantino in modo di canzona
III. Scherzo: Pizzicato ostinato — Allegro
IV. Finale: Allegro con fuoco

In previous years, Fall Concert attendees had the opportunity to exchange their Fall Concert ticket one-for-one for a general admission ticket to the Christmas Concert.

Due to a change in our ticketing platform, the one-for-one Christmas Concert ticket exchange will not be available in 2026. Fall Concert tickets cannot be exchanged for Christmas Concert tickets this year.

We appreciate your understanding and hope to be able to offer this opportunity again in future years.

The Orchestra participates in broadcasts of Music & the Spoken Word, annual Christmas and Pioneer Day celebrations, and concert tours with The Tabernacle Choir at Temple Square across the globe, as well as releasing more than 36 recordings with the Choir. Its fall and spring symphonic concerts have become cherished Temple Square traditions, offering audiences the chance to experience orchestral masterworks in the Tabernacle’s iconic acoustic setting.
