Watch and Listen to the Choir at Conference Time

Latter-day Saints travel from all over the world to attend the semiannual general conference of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the Conference Center in Salt Lake City, and the Mormon Tabernacle Choir has been providing music for the conferences since 1867. The Choir will sing at the Saturday morning, Sunday morning, and Sunday afternoon sessions of the October 2015 General Conference. Music selections are drawn from the hymns of the Church and other music rich with traditional meaning for Church members. A special selection is often chosen to appeal to the children of the Church. You can find veiwing information at www.lds.org.

This October you also can enjoy some added features to Conference participation.

Watch A New KSL Documentary Featuring the Choir

A new documentary, “The Dream Tour: Behind the Scenes with the Mormon Tabernacle Choir,” was filmed during the Choir’s Atlantic Coast tour in June and July. The program will air between general conference sessions on Sunday, October 4, 2015 at 1 p.m. on KSL Television. Embedded with the Choir during the tour were KSL TV producer Candice Madsen and photographer Ken Fall. Kim Farah, Choir publicist in the Church Public Affairs Department said, “I feel like Ken and Candice from KSL are part of our Choir family. They were a joy to work with on tour and committed themselves to telling the behind-the-scenes stories about the Choir and the Orchestra. Their documentary will feature the hard work, devotion, joy, and laughter that takes place when 600 people hit the road to share their signature sound and uplifting music with others.”
