Watch The Piano Guys Face To Face Event

You’ve seen their videos, now see them live! The Piano Guys—famous for their state-of-the-art videos, which have amassed over 700 million views—will participate in a live, worldwide chat. Previous Face to Face events have included conversations with David Archuleta, Lindsey Stirling, and Elder David A. Bednar and his wife, Susan.

The Piano Guys are Jon Schmidt, Steven Sharp Nelson, Paul Anderson, and Al van der Beek. The musical group started in a piano store in St. George called The Piano Guys. According to their official website, the store’s owner, Paul Anderson, was looking for the right musicians to help him create the number one music video channel in the world. When Jon Schmidt walked in to the store to practice on a piano before that night’s concert in the area, Anderson shared his idea with him, and things took off from there. Steven Sharp Nelson had been playing with Schmidt for years and was ready and waiting with his ability to add his own blend of cello expertise and creative ideas. When Nelson moved into Al van der Beek’s neighborhood, van der Beek invited Nelson to his home studio, where the two developed a songwriting partnership. In their own words, according to their website, “Our mission will always be to produce music videos that inspire, uplift, and make the world a better place. If we can make a positive impact in even one person’s life it has all been worth it to us.”

The event will be streamed live on October 20, 2015, at 6:00 p.m. MDT on the LDS Youth page, LDS.org, the LDS Youth YouTube channel, the Mormon Channel, and the LDS Youth Facebook page. To participate, you can submit questions before or during the event on the LDS Youth Facebook page, Twitter, or Instagram using #LDSface2face.
