Watch Alex Boyé’s Full America’s Got Talent Audition

This week Alex Boyé has been sharing the stage with the “America’s Choir” on the Atlantic Coast Tour. He even excited the Choir on the airplane, leading Choir members in an in-flight sing-along. Watch the video here.  Last week Boyé was watched on millions of television screens across the Unites States when he and his band amazed the audience and judges with a rousing rendition of “Shake it Off” by Taylor Swift.

Before taking the stage Boyé said, “I’ve been singing for about 25 years…it’s what I live for.” He added,

“America is a land of opportunity. It’s place where people come and follow their dreams.” When he walked onto the stage, Howie Mandel, one of the shows four judges asked him where he was from and Boyé replied, “I’m from London, England originally but I live in the U.S. now, Salt Lake City.” “Let’s hear what you got,” said Mandel.

At the conclusion of the song, Boyé jumped off the stage and into a split, drawing “wows” from the judges. The judges responses were about as positive as one could hope for. “In my six years here, this is my favorite music act ever, it really is,” said Mandel. “That definitely woke everybody up. You filled the whole room with your excited energy,” said Mel B. “I absolutely loved it to…it was awesome,” said Heidi Klum. “You know guys, I could watch you all day, you’re terrific. It’s a lot of fun, you’re an incredible dancer, that split…I’ve never seen anything like it,” said Howard Stern. Boyé then teared up upon receiving four yeses from the judges.
