The Tabernacle Choir, Orchestra at Temple Square, and Bells on Temple Square will perform their annual Christmas concerts in the Conference Center on Temple Square in Salt Lake City, Utah on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, December 12–14, 2019 at 8:00 p.m.

Christmas CDs and DVDs

Angels among Us is the title of both a CD and a DVD based on the 2018 Choir and Orchestra Christmas concerts with acclaimed Broadway singer and actress Kristen Chenoweth.  These products—released on Friday, October 18--will enhance your Christmas celebrations.

PBS and BYUtv Christmas TV Specials

PBS and BYUtv, the family entertainment cable TV network, will premiere the 16th annual Christmas with The Tabernacle Choir holiday special featuring Kristin Chenoweth. 

PBS: 60-minute program will premiere the program on Monday, December 16, at 9 p.m. Eastern Time. (Check your local PBS staion for specific times in your area.)

BYUtv: 90-minute program will premiere on Thursday, December 19 at 7 p.m. and 10 p.m. Eastern Time. (It will be 5 p.m. and 8 p.m. Mountain Time). 

Since 2004, Christmas with The Tabernacle Choir PBS Christmas broadcasts, recorded over three nights and broadcast one year later, have become a beloved PBS tradition. The TV special has consistently ranked at the top of the list of most viewed holiday programs on PBS.

Beginning in 2017, BYUtv—the groundbreaking HD cable TV network—joined with the Choir to produce the broadcast specials. With partner station WGBH—the largest creator of PBS content for TV and the web—the PBS 60-minute version of the concert airs the year following the live concert on PBS stations nationwide. A full 90-minute version of the concert airs on BYUtv during the holiday season.

Prior Christmas Concerts

Christmas concerts by The Tabernacle Choir have been a tradition that dates back decades. Beginning in 2000, the annual concerts moved to the Conference Center on Temple Square in Salt Lake City, where the Choir, Orchestra at Temple Square, and Bells on Temple Square have hosted a diverse roster of world-class talent.
