Sylvia McNair Joins the Choir for Music & the Spoken Word

Sylvia McNair, who joined the Mormon Tabernacle Choir and Orchestra at Temple Square during the 2015 ACDA finale concert singing "This Little Light of Mine," arranged by Moses Hogan, will be returning for Music & the Spoken Word Sunday, October 11.

Visitors to Salt Lake City may attend a live broadcast of Music & the Spoken Word featuring the Mormon Tabernacle Choir on Sunday mornings at 9:30 a.m. Doors open to the public at 8:30 a.m., and guests should be seated by 9:15 a.m., when the doors are closed. The broadcast is 30 minutes long and ends at 10:00 a.m.

From January through May and September through November, the broadcasts are held in the Salt Lake Tabernacle. From June through August, and during the month of December, broadcasts are held in the Conference Center to accommodate larger audiences.

No Tickets Required

Admission is free but is limited to those eight years of age and older. Doors open to the public at 8:30 a.m., and guests should be seated by 9:15 a.m., when the doors are closed. The broadcast is 30 minutes in length and ends at 10:00 a.m. Parking is available at no cost in the underground parking at the Conference Center.
