VICTORIA
I was born and raised in California. I attended BYU–Provo and was commissioned into the United States Air Force. As a first-generation college student, I knew education would impact my destiny in life, so I was willing to make sacrifices of my time, energy, and effort to reach my goals. Through scholarships, a few different jobs, and the support of my family, I was able to pay my way through college and Air Force ROTC. During my hectic schedule, I found peace and focus through music, temple worship, and conference talks. Now that I am graduated, before a stressful test or flight, I turn to gospel music or talks. Music offers a special spirit and allows me to step out of my busy life. Music helps me come closer to God and reminds me that He is aware of me and that He is always reaching out, waiting for me to accept the peace He offers.
