Expanding Reach: Bringing Music & the Spoken Word to Latin America
Music & the Spoken Word is a half-hour weekly program, with The Tabernacle Choir, comprised of inspirational music and uplifting words that has run consecutively in the United States since 1923. Music & the Spoken Word in Spanish debuted on July 30. The pilot episodes of the release marked a historic moment as the program became available weekly for Spanish-speaking audiences for the first time. This expansion supports the Choir’s commitment to sharing the gospel and message of the Savior throughout the world.
Where to Watch and Listen
Currently, Music & the Spoken Word Spanish releases a new episode every Sunday morning at 9:30 a.m. MST. These episodes can be watched live, or after the broadcast, on the following YouTube Channel.

For over nine decades, Music & the Spoken Word has graced the airwaves, captivating listeners around the world with its harmonious melodies and inspiring messages. Originating in Salt Lake City, Utah, the program first aired on July 15, 1929, making it one of the longest-running continuous network broadcasts in history. Throughout its illustrious history, the broadcast has touched countless lives, offering solace, hope, and spiritual upliftment.
The broadcast features the world-renowned Tabernacle Choir, whose roots trace back to the mid-nineteenth century. Initially formed to enrich worship services in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, the Choir has since grown into an internationally acclaimed ensemble, renowned for their exceptional vocal talents and captivating performances.
